Well, we certainly slowed our relationship down – to a grinding halt, in fact. So my first foray into internet dating cannot exactly be classed a roaring success after all. However, I did have a very good couple of weeks and greatly enjoyed spending some time in female company – especially her’s: it was a pleasure, albeit brief.
So it’s back to the drawing board. I have put my profile back up on the dating site and have started chatting to new people again. The great quest for Miss Right continues, possibly interspersed with several Miss Not-Quite-Rights and Miss Wrongs along the way.
Rights, wrongs, I blame the spring. It’s the mating season, right?

Maybe the quest should be for a Miss Right Now?
And, yes, it is the mating season…like I need another reminder?! :P

is it really mating season? weather didnt change at all the last few weeks, still too cold to do anything!! Does that mean I have to start running around like a headless chicken trying to find someone of the opposite sex to woe??
karalina, indeed, miss right now…i like that concept…

You know, I met my boyfriend under the worst possible circumstances – I was in another relationship right up until 2 days before we hooked up, we were roommates at the time, had been friends for years, and were both getting ready to move – me to Ohio, and him to NYC.
Many strikes against.
But we were right for each other. Our wrong parts fit. It helped that we took it slow. 5 years later and we’re fat and sassy.
I got lucky. We got lucky. There’s no reason that the kind of lighting that struck me can’t strike you……
So here’s to spring, and new love.
And if you meet someone you like under less than ideal circumstances – go for it!

Sounds excellent to me, I agree with Phantomias – sounds like a splendid concept! That would sort my friday night out most excellently :-)

I’ll drink to that… :-)
